The wedding photographer Shelley Price has kindly sent us a handful of Sneak Peek photos from the wedding!!
Thank you again to everyone that enjoyed the wedding without camera phones, we really loved the atmosphere of everyone enjoying the moment!
Please let us know your favorite moments from the wedding!!
We all know Luke is a notorious camera whore. I mean, the guy can't take a good photo (refer to the home page) and yet he leaps infront of a camera faster than Cameron Daddo at the 1998 Logies!!
To appease Luke's unrelenting demands for photographs, we have employed a full time photographer on the wedding day to capture his every move.
We will be happy to send these photos to anyone who requests.
We can even send you a few professional photos the day after the wedding so you can Instagram the s*it out of us #millyandtherooster.
Lucky for you, you wont need to be distracted during the ceremony or speeches by filming on your phone like anyone who's ever been to a Coldplay gig.
Just for the one day let's holster our phones, live in the moment and leave photography to the professionals.
No photos or filming at the ceremony or reception please.
Also, Milly is still technically single on facebook and wants to keep her options open with Tom from Chanel Seven. So no uploading!
Not long to go now everyone!!
Ladies; we all know you are going to look fabulous on the big day.
No need for tips on how to dress, we both know we have a bunch of very stylish friends and family.
There is one 'tip' that might cause concern however; Stiletto heels!
One thing I can assure you of is spending a lot of time walking on grass!
If you love to wear high heels, Bill Bray will be very appreciative of you aerating the lawn for him - but it may cause you to be 'cut off' at the bar for walking across the grass like a uni student at Flemington around Race 7.
A few options we have come up with an offer to you:
If in doubt, bring a bag of shoes and pick them up at the recovery brunch!
The Walkerville kiosk needs to be on everyone's bucket list!
Located on North Walkerville Beach overlooking Warratah Bay towards Wilson's Prom, this place must be one of the remote Kiosk's in Australia. Nevertheless the food and coffee here is 5-stars!
Make sure you make some time to visit this great spot with an empty stomach.
The Big Walkie burger is 'one with the lot' and is probably the best burger I've ever had!
Walkerville Kiosk was featured second on the list in Qantas Magazine as 'The 49 Australian Food and Drink Experiences you Can't Miss'
"Cocktail attire" on the invite may have undersold our expectations for fashions on the paddock.
Technically 'cocktail attire' for blokes means 'Suit and Tie' but we were thinking of something more fun and relaxed.
We hope everyone can rip up the rule book and dress up like the image above.
This article sums it up.
Here is a quote Milly found to sum it up:
"A wonderfully tailored suit that’s easily adaptable or semi-formal blazers and trousers will complement cocktail looks. Darker suits are the traditional choice when it comes to the cocktail attire, so keep things classic with dusky navies, subdued cobalt and muted greys. Stick to tailored suits that are fitted, but not too tight. Keep blazers figure-hugging, fresh and modern and alter pants to just skim the top of the footwear. Paying tribute to transitional day to night looks, keep cocktail attire adaptable with basic suits. Build up the look with pocket squares and inventive accessories, ensuring they enhance the classicism of your fitted silhouettes."
For those wishing to stay a little further away from the wedding, a bus to and from Inverloch has been added on the wedding day.
Inverloch is about 45 minutes from the wedding, so will take longer to arrive and return on the wedding and recovery brunch day.
The bus will leave RACV Inverloch at 4pm on the wedding day and return from the wedding after midnight.
Some of us love to sleep under the stars.
Some of us like to avoid sleep altogether.
Some of us miss the bus home.
For anyone inclined to stay on site Friday or bring a swag as an insurance policy, camping will be available in the orchard.
Please call or email us in advance (even on the day) to confirm a camp site and arrive early enough to set up before the ceremony.
A wedding day bus has been booked to bring guests to the wedding and home again.
Please ensure your accommodation is on the bus route so you can be picked up for the wedding and dropped off after.
1 bus will collect guests at each end of the bus route and along the way before the wedding.
2 busses will take guests home.
The bus is free.
